Finally catching up to the rest of you...

I just found two new things. They are not new at all in any way but they are new to me.

Words with Friends.
Draw Something.

Come play. I need more opponents! My username is stepmomkendahl for both. Let's play!

In unrelated news, it's Friday. Even better, it's my first payday. In over a year. Paydays are awesome! I forgot how much I like them.

Work is awesome. More awesome than work should be, I think. Which is good, right? Yes.

I bought more Girl Scout cookies. I only bought one box of the dulce de leche and I fell in love with them and then I ran out so I bought more of them on the last day the girlies were out selling. So up that total count to 23. I'm a fat kid, what can I say?

I hope you all are enjoying lovely weather like I am, and I hope it lasts all weekend even though my phone is showing this nightmarish black storm cloud. Or, rather, what looks like a storm cloud but is actually a cloud of cupcakes to rain goodness down on me. Yep.

If any of you know a Scentsy rep, send them my way. I have a warmer I want to buy and I'd rather buy it through a human that can gain from me spending money than throwing it at a website.

Have a fantastical weekend!

My new favorite thing.

Silk Fruit & Protein. So yummy!

Three flavors - mango peach, strawberry banana, and mixed berry. Mixed berry is my favorite but I like them all.

They are a really good source of protein (5 grams of protein per 1-cup serving). Mix it up with some fruit/veggies and ice, or even more protein powder, or vanilla ice cream... and you've got an amazing protein shake. I drink a big glass after I finish working out; so I can get the protein I need and it actually tastes good. Weird.

Try it and let me know what your favorite flavor is!

***I got three coupons for free product, plus some discount coupons, for reviewing the Fruit & Protein drinks. But I love it and it's always in my fridge now, even without the coupons. So I obviously like it for real.***

Things I'm loving right now.

I did my first 5k-ish walk/jog yesterday. I was positive I could do it in less than an hour but was hoping around 45 minutes... here it is - 3.2 miles in [drumroll] 39:47.8. I'm legitimately proud of myself for that one. I know it's no record setter but that's my starting point and I would have been happy to have that my ending point! That makes me feel like under 30 minutes might actually be possible for me (ohmigod I can't believe I just typed that out loud). I did my first mile in 9:12 so I just have to hold that pace the whole time. :D

Simply Orange with mango. YUM.

Reese's eggs. The absolute perfect proportion of peanut butter to chocolate, in my humble opinion.

This song. Middle Finger by Cobra Starship ft. Mac Miller. Such a good workout song!

The fact that I got asked by a Zumba instructor if I was an instructor as well. I still totally feel like a fool when I Zumba so to be asked that made my month YEAR. I am accounting a lot of it to my cool new pants but still, it feels pretty good.

Fancy Zumba pants. Mine are grey and pink but still, super awesome.

It's Monday, and I'm not homicidal. That's a plus, right?

The new job is going incredibly well! I actually really like it. For real. It's chill, easy, a fun atmosphere, and they brought in Wingers for lunch Friday. Wonderful!

I've been trying to talk Husband into a weekend away this weekend. It's our only one without the little so it'd just be us and some serious relaxing time. He needs it.

Speaking of the little, I am not sure I'm ready for this growing up thing. The on-and-off friends drama has already begun. I swear, it did not start that early when I was younger. This world is starting to move too fast for me.

My friend Ari and I ran/walked a mile for a charity thing on Saturday. It was fun! Windy and cold, but fun. A good starting point to my 5k goal.

I got this rad game sent to me to try out and so far, Punk and I love it! It's such a simple concept that turns into so much fun. You should see her play; she gets super competitive and the longer we play, the closer her face gets to the cards. It's actually pretty hilarious!

I've got three hundred things in my head but none of them are coming out into this ridiculous, pointless post so I'll end it here. Have a good week!

My favorite online deal site.

Have you ever heard of nomorerack.com? It's one of those daily deal sites (are you getting sick of them yet?) but it's my favorite. They offer 9 deals a day and one of them is typically free (you just pay shipping) and one of them you can pay for with referrals or "friends".

They also sometimes have these deals that you need to watch for - they're called Insanity Deals, and they rock. They are good deals on crack. The most recent one I saw (but was too slow to get) was a $50 Amazon gift card for $5. Sweet action.

So, go sign up for nomorerack.com, earn me some friends, and get some good deals!

***This post is sponsored by Blogsvertise. But I really do love nomorerack.com and think you should sign up for it.***

Title goes here.

Look out the window. Do you see SUNSHINE? That, combined with how warm it is out there, is frying my brain. I start my job tomorrow but Spring Fever has officially set in. All I want to do is go out and take pictures of blossoms and flowers popping out of the dirt (until Utah covers us in snow again, I know it will happen, it always does) and ride my big wheel and also my pit bike and run a 5k every day. But no, I am on my way to sitting in an office 8 hours a day. At least there's a walking path, right?

Me and underwear are not getting along today. Sometimes going commando doesn't seem all that crazy. TMI?

Purses should be required to have at least 5 pockets of varying sizes, for me to organize my shit. Two pockets is absolutely not enough.

I'm craving Chinese food right now like fat kids crave cake. Okay, I also crave cake but that's off the point.

I bought 19 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. Yah, you read that right. 2 of the boxes are for Husband, the rest for me. And I will absolutely eat them all, probably by August. I am going to start a petition for Girl Scout cookies to be sold at least twice a year. Will you sign?

Go enter my giveaway because it ends next week and there are no entries. It's possibly the last one I'll do because you guys don't seem to want giveaways. And that's totally fine with me!

Go see John Carter. I know it's rated PG-13 but I took Punk (she's 10 [omg]) and I didn't feel like anything in the movie was questionable for her to see. There's some violence but not on an extreme level. Honestly, I didn't think it looked all that great but then I saw it and I really like it. Woola is my favoritest alien dog of all time. It was like Star Wars meets Gladiator. I will for sure be adding it to my collection when it comes to Blu-Ray.

Happy Monday, kids. I will be an official member of the workforce tomorrow and half of me is excited (hello, paycheck! also, human interaction) and half of me is sad (goodbye, super clean house and cuddle time with Turbo).

Another encounter with Mr.Chewy

If you remember, I had the chance to review Mr.Chewy not too long ago, and it was a very positive experience. Well, I had the opportunity again, and I've got to say... it was a really good experience, again! Turns out, Mr.Chewy and his team know what they are doing.

This time, we got to review a new-to-us brand of cat food, Orijen. Orijen is a really good brand of food; rich in protein, but low on carbs and grain-free. AKA - good for my kitteh. (They also have dog food, if you're wondering.)

First things first - the order process. It was super speedy and the food was here in no time. Mr.Chewy is super fast in getting orders out!

As for the Orijen cat food, this stuff is legit. The first ingredient is boneless chicken, followed by a slew of other meats and veggies - turkey, salmon, potatoes, peas, eggs, etc. The list goes on and on. They make this food to mirror a natural diet and I've got to say, if Turbo was living in the wild, he'd probably be eating about what this food has in it. That, or human flesh... whatever.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're looking for a good cat or dog food, go with Orijen. And if you want a good place to order from, that's not too pricey, and will get your order to you fast, MrChewy.com is the way to go.

***the legal stuff: I received a free bag of Orijen cat and kitten food for my devil cat to eat in exchange for posting my honest review. that is all.***
