If none of my things to do this weekend inspires you to get out of the house, how about going to see a movie? Movie theater popcorn is always a good idea, despite what the medical professionals may say.
Punk and I got to go see Brave this week and I was really excited, partly because Disney Pixar is my favorite pairing since Nutella and marshmallow creme, and partly because they have freaking Scottish accents! How cute!
I will admit, I did not expect the plot to lay out like it did. I think they could have done a better job of advertising so people would know what to expect. BUT, it's still really cute and incredibly well done. It's worth going just to see Merida's hair! It's amazeballs. For real. They put a whole ton of effort into making it look real (seriously, read this) and it was worth it. Her hair, especially in 3D, looks real! It moves like real hair and looks like real hair and it's just awesome.
Go see it. That's my two cents.
Yeah, I think they didn't advertise it well, because it was nothing like I thought it would be. I also have to say, Savannah got a little scared...but in the end liked it. I was glad I didn't take Devin, because it might have been a little too much for him.

ReplyDeleteI initially decided the movie looked dumb but I keep hearing really great things about it! I think we'll have to red box it when it comes out.
