I NEED butter cake. If I don't get some into my system in the next 24 hours horrible things might start happening. Have you seen 2012? Kinda like that. Somebody, ANYBODY, find me the recipe for the butter cake from California Pizza Kitchen. Or even something pretty similar. I spent a good 45 minutes trying to find it online and was unsuccessful. The Paula Deen recipe people keep pointing me to is most definitely NOT it - it has some sort of goop in the middle and the cake from CPK does not. The goop kinda scares me, but it's from Paula Deen, so it's probably something incredibly good and heart-stopping.
I am dying, officially, from withdrawal of something I've only eaten once in my lifetime. It's getting serious.

Day 26. Nearing the end. Nearing is an odd word. Is that even spelled right?
day 26- what do you think about your friends
Well that's a weird question. They wouldn't be my friends if I didn't think the world of them. I am very anti-social and so am also very okay being by myself. I'd rather not have friends then have friends who weren't some of the greatest people in this world. I'm incredibly loyal and expect that from my friends as well. Probably why I don't have many friends, but still, I wouldn't trade the ones I have for the world.
More 30-day blabbery right here.

What I want Wednesday - 03/30/11 - Wicked kicks
You guys would probably never guess this about me, but I have a thing for shoes. The biggest problem with that, is I'm 5'11". I can't wear big tall heels without feeling totally awkward and a bit Amazon-ish. I need Punk to be big so I can make her wear the shoes and live through her. :) Here are a few I've been drooling over. Click on the picture to be taken to where you can purchase them.
And I know these aren't shoes, they are just the part that you wrap around the shoe (it's called a spat) but they are GORGEOUS.

EdenFantasys. Not all toys and whips and chains. Happy stuff, too!

EdenFantasys. Contrary to popular belief, they are more than just toys and weird, too-kinky-for-me stuff. They have a lot of cool stuff, too. And have you ever gone to a bachelorette party? You need a fun gift! EdenFantasys has plenty of games, lotions, massage oils, and lingerie, perfect for a new bride. Looking for something more comical? EdenFantasys has an entire section for party favors and gags. I need someone to have a bachelorette party so I can get the pecker cupcake pan, that thing cracks me up.
So, put the kids to bed, grab the significant other, and kick that romance factor back up.
Clicking on any of the links in this e-mail will take you to an 18+ site, so be careful!
I was given a gift code to EdenFantasys for writing this post. But I was not influenced by that, seriously. They are a great, very discreet site that I am happy ordering from.

Get to know you Monday. Since I'm sure none of you know me well enough at this point. HA
The Expo was an incredible success! I sold more than I ever expected to, by ten times. It was awesome.
I know I haven't done one of these in awhile so I figured, what the hell, let's do a 'getting to know you' Monday. Please, seriously, copy the questions and post and then let me know you did! It will be super cool. You wanna be cool, right?

Are you a collector of anything? Money. Seriously though, shot glasses. And cupcake memorabilia.

What is usually your first thought when you wake up? Nowadays, it's "oh it's so nice to not have to wake up to an alarm clock".

Ever been addicted to a video/computer game? Which one(s)? Yes - Tokyo Underground. And Bloons Tower Defense.

Finally Friday! Which means nothing because every day is like a weekend to me now.
This week is actually backwards from what I am used to - I will be working this weekend at the Scrapbook Expo in Sandy so I'm working Friday and Saturday and didn't work the rest of the days. Totally backwards. But, if you are out and about, come hit the Scrapbook Expo! I'll be at the Cutterpillar booth, selling the hell out of the best paper cutter in the world. Come say hi!
And watch for a review of the Cutterpillar coming soon. I've just got to get my video unit thingie hooked up to this computer. It's seriously a dream come true for anyone that ever needed to cut paper.
Have a good weekend, darlings!

O. M. G! Mr Popper's Penguins trailer!
Forget about what I said about being excited for any movie to come out. This, THIS, puts all of that to shame. I almost cried while I was watching this trailer. This book led to my fascination with penguins, to my plea with the Husband to let me turn under our stairs into a polar heaven for penguin friends, to me giggling like a school girl at the penguin exhibit at the aquarium. And it's finally going to be a movie! WITH JIM CARREY!
*squeeee!*
Thanks Shibby for letting me know it was out yesterday!

Random thought Thursday. Because it's got more alliteration.
I'm putting off cleaning the bathroom. Just can't work up the motivation.
I am going to a couponing class tonight and I'm so excited! I am strange; I understand. But seriously, I cannot wait. One day, I'll be on that TLC show Extreme Couponing and you all will be like, OMG I totally know that crazy lady. I love saving money.
Husband and I are going to Rise Against next month and I'm seriously counting down the minutes. I am so freaking excited to see Rise Against in concert! And it's all GA and it will be Husband's first GA concert with me. I think he's in for a surprise at how beat up you can get.
The roughest concert I ever went to was AFI. How weird is that? The pit at AFI was way more brutal than even the pit at Poison The Well. I didn't expect it. But it was awesome.
I went to California Pizza Kitchen last week and now cannot stop thinking about two things - the white corn guacamole and the butter cake. If any of you can find me a copycat recipe for either of those, I'll send you my first born.
My freezer is officially over capacity, and my shelving for food storage (pantry overload area) is about a foot from being full. I think we're good on food for the next, oh, three months?
I just talked to a lady about getting a dealer account setup that was seriously the brattiest woman I have ever talked to. I wanted to slap her through the phone.
I think I gotta go clean the bathroom now. I made a promise to myself that my entire to-do list would be finished before I have lunch and my tummy is growling. I can't let myself down.

This just in. Josh Duhamel is adorable AND a good guy.
In an effort to raise money for Japan, actor Josh Duhamel ("When in Rome" and "Transformers") is hosting a Relief Run in Santa Monica, CA this coming Sunday, March 27. All information can be found here. And yes, Josh will be there himself in person running along side everyone!
In case you need a refresher, this is Josh Duhamel:
Well known for, well, dating Fergie, and that one incident where he was escorted off an airplane. And he also stars in Life As We Know It, and the TV show Las Vegas. He's adorable, right?

I need a dream interpreter. Stat.
I have really weird and messed up dreams. I have since I was itty bitty. Night terrors aside, the dreams I have would probably count as nightmares to most people but since they are so much softer than the night terrors, they don't even bother me.
The dream I had last night was... odd. And I would like to know what it means.
I was on a reality show trying to win Bret Michaels' love. (I don't even like Bret Michaels.) We were on a cruise ship and so when the girls were voted off, they couldn't leave; they just got put in this big room together and weren't supposed to leave it. I made it to the final two girls, even though in the dream I didn't want to win and wasn't sure how I got there. (I was married in the dream as well, so wth?) Anyway, the last two were me and this girl who used to be my best friend, Shaylie. Before we went to the final ceremony where he told us who he was choosing, we had to go through this really weird obstacle course that reminded me of Little Big Planet. Then we went to the room and he put the ring on my head and told me I was the winner. Then his bodyguard dude came over and put the ring on my finger. (Again, wth?) We were on live TV and I didn't know if I should tell him that I was married or not but I decided to and he started bawling and his make-up was running down his face and he asked me if it was because the ring was too small. Then I woke up.
So, all of my dream interpreters out there, what does this all mean? I'm baffled.

(not-so) Wordless Wednesday, 03/23/11 - The first Build-A-Bear visit!
(she doesn't smile in pictures sometimes. I think she got told her smile is dorky or something so I actually have to tell her to smile or she doesn't.)
I cannot believe I let it go this long without ever taking her to Build-A-Bear. I love that place more than I love my left foot. And the girl that helped us was so cute and so sweet and the perfect Build-A-Bear employee. It was awesome!

Day 24 and 25. So I forgot about this entire thing. Sue me.
day 24- your last five facebook status'
Well, seeing as how I don't have Facebook I can't really answer this. I'm going to do day 25 as well so you don't feel like you got hosed.
day 25- what I would find in your bag
Wow. My bag is the Mary Poppins bag, and I'm not even kidding. On any random day, here is a good list of things you would probably find in my purse:
four different flavors of chapstick
at least three different packages of candy and/or trail mix
my Canon
a notepad
approximately 11 different pens and markers
lens cleaner wipes
birth control pills
tampon (always, just in case)
iPod and headphones
handheld Yahtzee and/or Sudoku (I get bored easily)
my glasses
lotion (this is one of those obsessive things and yes, it really will ruin my day if I can't put lotion on after I wash my hands, which I do on average 15 times a day)
Tylenol and Excedrin (I get migraines frequently)
band-aids (also accident prone)
gum
mints
hard candies
credit cards
cash
coupons
change
receipts
cell phone
keys
Not kidding. I keep it all in my purse. And yes, it does need to be there, stop asking. And there is probably more. My purse is practically a 72-hour kit.
If you forgot what this is all about, because I sure did, catch up here.

Peter Rabbit Organics - a review of their new flavors
A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far away... Oh, wait. That's not my start. Let's try this again...
Awhile back, I did a review of a super cute company called Peter Rabbit Organics. This time around, they sent me their new fruit and veggie blends flavors to try. There are three different flavors:
On the left, we've got pea, spinach and apple. Let me tell you, the child inside me was cringing at the thought of this one. Peas AND spinach? Are you kidding? And it was green. The child inside me ran screaming right then. But I tried it, and it isn't bad! The strongest flavor is the apple, as it almost always is. But the spinach and peas add a really sweet background flavor to the apple. Not my favorite of the three, but I did finish the pouch so that's saying something.
Onto the middle flavor, the sweet potato, corn and apple. I was actually excited to try this one; I've had an ongoing infatuation with sweet potatoes for years now. This one was good. The apple was the most upfront flavor, of course (those apples are show-offs) but the sweet potato and corn gave it this sweet with a hint of salty flavor, and I really like it.
The flavor on the right - carrot, squash and apple - won as my favorite of the three. I was absolutely not expecting it to, but it did. Rather than apple being the bossy flavor in this trio, they all meld together nicely. You get a little of the raw flavor of carrot, plus the salty smooth flavor of the squash, and the sweet and tanginess of the apple. Super yummy!
I love the portability of the pouches; much less mess to worry about than handing the kiddlets cut fruit and veggies. AND, I think this might be the easiest way to get them to eat veggies like spinach and squash, if they are anything like I was when I was little.
Want to give them a shot? The wonderful veggie flavors, plus the original fruit flavors, are available on Amazon.com!

You ever stumble upon something just plain adorable? This is that.
At the beginning of the new Winnie the Pooh movie there is going to be a short film called "The Ballad of Nessie". By Nessie, they are indeed referring to the Loch Ness monster. And she is SO DARLING!
See? The story is about Nessie, and about how she and her best friend MacQuack the rubber duck came to live in the moor. But it can't be all kittens and unicorns and rainbows, right? It is a Disney movie, so there's gotta be the bad guy. Queue MacFroogle, a greedy land developer who decides to build a mini-golf empire on top of Nessie’s home. It looks super cute, and I already am wanting to see Winnie the Pooh, so this just adds to it. It's release to theaters will be on July 15th of this year.

2011 Kids Who Give Contest. Really cool press release info you should read, ya'll.
KNOW A KID-SIZED HERO?
Enter them in the 2011 ‘Kids Who Give’ contest, kicking Off TODAY!
ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA. (March 1, 2011) – Adults often shake their heads and wonder, “What’s the matter with kids today?”
But Farm Rich, the frozen snack and appetizer brand, says there’s nothing wrong with this generation of kids. And, to prove it, the company has kicked off the second annual Kids Who Give contest aimed at celebrating youth across America who are making a positive impact in their communities by volunteering.
Kids Who Give is open to youth from 7 to 17 who reside in the United States. Entries will be accepted from March 1 through May 31, 2011, with the winners announced in August. This year, there are three age-based categories: 7-10, 11-13 and 14-17, plus a new Fan Favorite category where America gets to vote. Three winners in each category will each receive up to a $2,500 donation to contribute to the charity of their choice, a personal gift card and a special Farm Rich prize package. In addition, each category’s grand prize winner, along with a parent or guardian, will receive an all-expense-paid trip to New York City this fall for the 2011 Kids Who Give Awards Dinner.
Join the Kids Who Give conversations on Facebook, or follow @kidswhogive on Twitter for all the latest updates. On YouTube, video entries can be viewed here.
“The submissions we received in our first year were so inspiring and we were in awe of all the great work kids across America are doing,” says Jennifer Meetz, director of marketing. “It’s a privilege to spotlight the efforts of so many young people who have a desire to help others and to highlight how one individual – even a child - can make a lasting impact.”
The 2010 Kids Who Give entrants offered amazing stories of how children took personal experiences to launch efforts that were important to them. For instance:
· Andi Kezh, who after undergoing multiple cleft lip and palate operations, raises money for The Smile Train, which provides free surgeries like hers to other children.
· Nathan Earl, who lost his cousin to cancer, established The Henry Tucker Foundation to help families of sick children and has already raised more than $75,000.
· Olivia Stinson started the PEN Pals Book Club and Support Group for Children of Incarcerated Parents to promote literacy and community service for the children of incarcerated parents.
· Anna Stang launched Blankets of Love and makes blankets for chemo patients after seeing how cold her aunt was following treatment.
· Katie Stagliano, determined to tackle hunger, created Katie's Krops, large vegetable gardens that have donated more than 3,500 pounds of harvest to feed people in need.
“It makes me feel good to know that other people are being touched by what I do,” Anna Stang says.

Breakfast for a good cause. Other than your own hunger.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, yet the alarming reality is that nearly 1 in 4 children live in homes where food is not always available, making breakfast hard to come by.
That’s why Kellogg’s is asking YOU to help. By simply sharing a photo of your breakfast, Kellogg's will help share breakfast with kids in school who might otherwise miss out.
The Share Your Breakfast program is running now through July 31, 2011, and Kellogg’s goal is to help share one million breakfasts by the start of the 2011-2012 school year - so every breakfast counts!
Each time you share a photo or description of your breakfast, Kellogg's will donate the monetary equivalent of school breakfasts to Action for Healthy Kids, a nonprofit organization that focuses on childhood obesity and undernourishment. Here are a few ways you can help:
- Upload a photo of your breakfast and share it at ShareYourBreakfast.com.
- Text your photo with the word “Share” to 21534.
- Visit the “Help A Child” tab on Kellogg's Facebook page and upload your photo straight from there!
- Rally your friends and family to share their breakfast. Spread the word any way you like.
- Tweet about Share Your Breakfast using #shareURbreakfast.

Join Kellogg's on National Breakfast Day!
To continue spreading the word about Share Your Breakfast, join us on March 8, 2011 in New York's Grand Central Terminal between 6am and 12pm to celebrate National Breakfast Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the power of breakfast. At the free event, TV star and mom Melissa Joan Hart will host a community breakfast and invites you to join Tony the Tiger™ and Snap! Crackle! and Pop!® to both enjoy and share your breakfast.
And if you don't live near New York City, there are still ways to participate! On National Breakfast Day only, there's one more way to share your breakfast. All you have to do is tweet a description of your breakfast (no photo required) with #ShareUrBreakfast on March 8, National Breakfast Day - every tweet will count as one more breakfast shared!
