As you may or may not remember, Fotolia.com came to me to and asked me to review their site for free for a month. I gladly accepted, seeing it as an opportunity to build my library of fun pictures and images and vectors that you can't get on Google. :)
What did I think? It was cool. It took me a bit to get used to how the site works, but after that short learning curve, things were peachy. I filled my cart up with backgrounds and fonts and images and all sorts of fun things to use for my own personal stuff. It was great! They have a huge variety of pictures and videos and vector graphics to satisfy the needs of anyone, really.
They have the option to buy a subscription, or just buy on a download-to-download basis. I've never used other subscription sites, so I am not sure how their pricing compares, but it's right on their site so you know what you're paying upfront.
Want free stuff? Hit up their Facebook page and become a fan, and get access to their free images area. Or, to try their site out, I've got a code you can use. Simply click here and enter the code CMSB55E8 and you should be all set.
Like I said earlier, I did get a month's subscription for free to try out their site. But my opinions are my own and not influenced by the free aspect.
