day 12- how you found out about blogger and why you have one
I got laid off in January two years ago, and I needed something to fill my time. I started entering a bunch of giveaways and whatnot, and I had friends that kept bugging me to start a blog, so I finally figured what the hell and jumped on the bandwagon. I went with Blogger because it seemed the easiest to navigate. And now I'm stuck forever and ever. The end.
Check out the rest of this disaster here.
I'm stuck too.
ReplyDeleteHey I am right there with you! My husband got laid off and we were losing our home and moved in with my parents. It was depressing moving in with them again with a huge family, no money, no jobs and just miserable I discovered giveaways on Evonnes blog and won something..so I entered more..so I was addicted. It was what I looked forward too while we were both job searching and miserable. I started winning things like crazy and getting weekly packages. My family always teased me how I always had a grin on my face smiling because I was thrilled I won another one. It was true, it made me smile when life around me was not so good. I entered thousands of giveaways when my kids were at school and it helped a ton to provide Christmas for my kids and two of their birthdays with my wins. I also won three $100 gift cards that year to Sams club and could use it at walmart to buy us food. It was such a blessing! After a few companies contacted me to also do giveaways (because they noticed I had entered so many lol) I started my own giveaway blog..and the name all because of my experience how it brought a smile to my day. I wanted to pass it on and hopefully make someone else smile now and then too. I love finding new fun products to review and my kids get spoiled. Its great! Its a fun hobby but very busy one too! I started blogging in 2006 after my divorce my sister got me started and I just blogged family pics and pics of my kids. I love blogging and the friendships it has brought!
