Thanks for signing that Declaration, founding fathers! I appreciate you.
We have had quite the weekend so far, and are up for more fun tomorrow. I can't wait! The actual Holiday, however, is filled with cleaning and laundry. Awwww. But, yesterday and tomorrow will totally make up for that. And hopefully some crafting along the way. Yesterday, we woke up SUPER early to go see this:

Let's check out that main shot:
Oh, I am so in love with that sun spot. Click on it to see it bigger, for real. I'm awfully proud of that one!
Sadly enough, it was too windy for most of the balloons to take off, so we're going back tomorrow to hopefully watch all 25 take off. Only three got to go yesterday. So, up SUPER early again tomorrow to see them again! And then the parade. And then who knows what but even Husband has the day off so it should be fun!
About three minutes from our house, there is a guy that owns all sorts of cool creatures, and we often stop by just to see the animals. He has baby pigs, baby goats (which are the cutest things EVER!), black swans, geese, ducks, fish, Highland cattle (Google them, seriously; they are so cute!), a jackass, turkeys, a great dane named Mowgli... and you can get up close and personal with them all! But our absolute favorite is Oscar. Not green or ornery, Oscar is cute and cuddly and likes to chew on sleeves. This is Oscar:
All together now: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! He is so freaking cute. And we are so lucky to live so close to a house with all of these fun pets to go look at and pet, in some cases. Seriously, this little guy is incredibly soft. I never knew kangaroos were so cuddly. What a good weekend, eh?
AWESOME PICTURES, KENDAHL!! :D
