When I was given the opportunity to try Silk Pure Almond, I was actually pretty excited! The idea of almond milk actually sounds really good; I love almonds. And can I tell you? It is pretty good! It's really smooth, with a very faint almond flavor; just enough for it to taste really good. Plus, almonds are really good for you, so any milk from almonds is also really good for you! This milk has tons of antioxidants, vitamin E, fiber and protein. Plus, there are only 60 calories in one glass (of the original flavor). Sweet, yes? When I switched over to buying skim milk, Punk complained that she didn't like the flavor of it. (Punk is actually a milk drinker - she must have got that from RealMom because Husband doesn't drink it either.) But when I put this in the fridge, she drank it without a word. It's passed the yummy test!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Almond milk... only use Almond milk and rice milk now that I have read up all the nutritional values. And Almond is actually what helped to heal me more than 30 yrs ago when I was deathly ill in south america... have reverted back to it now... am always sharing itrs value with others adn so glad more and more grocers are hearing us consumers and stocking up larger refrigerator sections for it. I have never tried Almond milk, but it sounds delish..and the baby would probably like it too :) so we would both love it and the chico bag seems pretty cool to win too :)
