As I said yesterday, I am not usually a big fan of milk. I just don't like the taste, and I take calcium supplements so I don't need anything nutritionally from it. My crazy family are all big fans of soy milk, and while that's better, it's still only something I buy to put over cereal.
When I was given the opportunity to try Silk Pure Almond, I was actually pretty excited! The idea of almond milk actually sounds really good; I love almonds. And can I tell you? It is pretty good! It's really smooth, with a very faint almond flavor; just enough for it to taste really good. Plus, almonds are really good for you, so any milk from almonds is also really good for you! This milk has tons of antioxidants, vitamin E, fiber and protein. Plus, there are only 60 calories in one glass (of the original flavor). Sweet, yes? When I switched over to buying skim milk, Punk complained that she didn't like the flavor of it. (Punk is actually a milk drinker - she must have got that from RealMom because Husband doesn't drink it either.) But when I put this in the fridge, she drank it without a word. It's passed the yummy test!

And for those picky FTC people, yes, I was given coupons to try Silk Pure Almond at no cost to me. But I really like the stuff and will buy it in the future. My opinions posted here are mine and were not influenced by the fact that I got to try the milk for free. Good?
