Mom's Nite Out & Pizza Hut

Have you ever heard of Mom's Nite Out? If not, here's a little about it:

The first ever National Mom’s Nite Out is the brainchild and passion of Maria Bailey, internationally known Mom expert and author of “The Ultimate Mom.” National Mom’s Nite Out is a long overdue event and the ultimate attempt to unite moms and companies in celebrating motherhood.

The National Mom’s Nite Out is the first nationally organized celebration of motherhood.

Mom's Nite Out was on Thursday, May 6, 2010 this year (the Thursday before Mother’s Day). There were so many things to do and ways to celebrate, setup by Maria Bailey and BSM Media, it was incredible. What an amazing way to give Moms that night off they so often need but can't get.

I know I am extremely late in getting this information out, but hopefully it can help bring attention to it next year, because I pretty much guarantee it will continue to happen.

BSM Media partnered with Pizza Hut to provide gift cards to mothers all over the country, so that they could order pizza in for the family and then take off to celebrate the night with other mothers and friends. I was lucky enough to get one of those gift cards, but not lucky enough to have that night off. Okay, so I'm only a part-time Mom and I didn't even have Punk that night but still... I worked that night so I didn't get the night off of anything except being a Mommy.

I finally got the chance to use the gift card this weekend and it couldn't have been a bigger life saver. We are in the process of ripping out part of the back yard to level it and put gravel down, so that we have room to park the motorhome and both of our enclosed trailers. We have a bunch of Husband's friends over to help and figured we probably should provide dinner since they were so nice to come help with this monstrosity:

(this is half of the tree that was in the corner - it was a big one!)

When it came time to feed the masses, pizza was the perfect answer. And right now, Pizza Hut has that 'any pizza for $10' deal, so the gift card went a really long way! The pizza was awesome, but even more awesome was that I didn't have to worry about cooking for the boys or cleaning up the mess, I just had to set out paper plates and let them at it.

Thanks Pizza Hut and BSM Media for being so fan-freaking-tastic!
