Ugh, Really?

If you go into someone else's bathroom to use the potty, and the toilet seat is down when you get in there, PLEASE just put it back down when you are done!

I mean, seriously - is it that hard? Just put it down. Seriously.

If you ever come to my house and use my bathroom and leave the toilet seat up, I may have a total come apart. It's one of my biggest pet peeves.

Satan Cat thinks it's okay to play in the toilet water, which is why we leave the seats DOWN all the time. And the last thing I want him to do is come give me love scratches [yes, love scratches] with potty water paws. GROSS.

Canker Cover Giveaway!

You all know what a canker sore is, right? I bet you do, and I bet you hate them. Wish you could get rid of it faster? Try Canker Cover!

Canker Cover is this little thing that goes over a canker sore and helps get rid of it, usually within 24 hours. Wow. I have quite a few food allergies; none that will kill me, but they do cause quite the canker outbreak if I choose to eat them anyway. I've dealt with plenty of canker sores in my days. How great it would be to be able to get rid of them within 24 hours of them showing up! I haven't had the chance to use Canker Cover yet [though I did get a box for hosting this giveaway] but the thought of my canker sore disappearing shortly after it appears is an incredible thought.

Canker Cover is the only over-the-counter canker sore treatment shown in clinical studies to significantly speed treatment. You put this little patch over the sore, and that little patch slowly forms a gell patch that protects the sore, relieves the pain, and speeds treatment. In two separate clinical studies, Canker Cover was shown to heal most canker sores within 24 hours and to be more effective than benzocaine, the active ingredient in most canker sores products, at eliminating pain. No other canker sore products in the world have shown this result.

Canker Cover is made from natural ingredients, including natural menthol, citrus oil and sea salt. In most cases, one patch completely treats a canker sore within 24 hours. Cool!

Get canker sores like me? Want to try Canker Cover out? Just leave me a comment! Come sometime after midnight MST, Friday, December 31st, I'll pick one commenter and they get a free box. Awesome, eh? Also, it would be great if you could visit Canker Cover's site and check it out.

PreHistin Giveaway!

Do you suffer from allergies? Or maybe a spouse or kid or parent or even anyone you know? If so, I've got good news for you [or them, I guess]! There's something on the market now called PreHistin, and it's a phenomenal idea for allergy sufferers. Basically, it's a lozenge that you suck on, and it regulates and normalizes the release of histamines, which is what causes allergy attacks. No more sleepy-causing anti-histamines anymore! Instead of taking it after you start getting your butt kicked by allergies, you suck on the lozenges whenever, and it helps you not have the allergy attacks. Cool, right? It's safe for anyone 12 and older, and there are no known adverse side effects.

Now, for the technicalities... Histamines are responsible for creating the chemical reactions in the body, which trigger sneezing, nasal congestion and a runny nose. Most products on the market are “anti-histamine” drugs, which means they attack the histamines after they are released, but often have irritating side effects, such as drowsiness. However, PreHistin is a pre-histamine, which means it regulates the release of histamine. By regulating the histamine release, the body may not overreact to foreign substances. PreHistin was clinically shown to effectively maintain healthy IgE levels, which have been linked to allergy symptoms, such as sneezing, nasal congestion and runny nose. PreHistin is made with a safe, all natural formula that contains a proprietary, patented cyanocobalamin (a pharmaceutical grade analogue of B12). For adults and children 12 years and over.

Want to try PreHistin out? Leave me a comment! I'll be giving a box of 63 lozenges away to one of you fantastical people, and will choose a winner using random.org after midnight MST Tuesday, December 29th. Good luck!

I was given a box of PreHistin for hosting this giveaway.

Well, It's About Time!

I know, I know. I'm a horrible blog friend and I don't deserve all of you that still keep coming even though I've been a pathetic blogging mess since I got a job.

I am truly sorry!! I miss the blog, and I miss the internet, and mostly I miss being able to read all of your blogs on a daily basis. After I get caught up on reading everything from the week, I'm too exhausted and out of brains to leave comments. I feel terrible about it; really. So please just stay with me and I'll try to work a few minutes of blogs into my morning routine. Okay?

So, onto the update. Things are okay around here. Husband is still without a job, but to be honest, I kinda like it. He is less stressed and therefore more sweet to me. I even caught him kissing me while I was sleeping. [GASP!] Money is super tight and what with it being Christmas, I'm so stressed out I could kick things, but it's okay. I'll survive and maybe make it through the next two weeks. I officially started my Christmas shopping today, so I might even be able to get it all done before Christmas! Wow, right?

The house is officially for sale [with a For Sale By Owner sign and all!] and we will be making the super lengthy move to the new house [yah, a whopping six houses up] sometime within the next couple of weeks. For those paying attention, we're only about a month behind schedule. I was hoping to be in by Christmas, and if all goes well, we should make that by the skin of our teeth. I packed the first box today, and before the end of tomorrow, we should have Punk's room all packed up and ready to go. Now, we just need a buyer. Anyone looking for a really cute 3 bed/2 bath home? :)

The job is really going well and I like it. It's the first job I have ever had where I didn't dread getting up and going, so that's good! It seems to be a good place to work.

I think that's all for now. Have some great Holiday times and stay tuned for some new giveaways soon!

Wordless Wednesday, 12/02

When you're letting sugar cookies chill on the counter, it's best to stay in the kitchen to be sure your demonic cat doesn't jump on the counter and leave a cute paw print cookie for you. Or do let him, 'cuz it's pretty darn cute.

Check out more Wordless Wednesday here!
