About a month and a half ago, Husband and I were driving around and found this great house with a big for sale sign on it. I had noticed the house before and had always thought to myself, that’s a cute house and there is enough parking for the motorhome! But since we weren’t in the market, I didn’t pay much more attention than that. On this specific day, Husband decided to stop and look. Long story short, this was the PERFECT house for us [other than being quite a bit bigger than we want]. So I called on it, and sadly, it sold that day. That is the second time that has happened to us! Sold on the day I call to get more information.
Anyway, since then we’ve talked about it and we think we may be in our current house for awhile. And that makes me think even more about upgrading or changing or somehow making the interior of our house just a bit cuter than it currently is. My biggest gripe about this house? Our master bath. I wish it were a bit bigger and we could have a Jacuzzi tub. As I’m thinking about that, I decide to do some window shopping and find this amazing online store that does bathrooms!
Have y’all ever heard of Quality Bath? They have some amazing bathroom stuff! Especially their bathroom vanities. Right now, we have a plain sink with the drawers and cupboard underneath, and a mirror. It would be fun to do something extravagant with it! I would love a pretty pedestal sink, but we don’t have room to not have storage under the sink, so that wouldn’t work.
While I was browsing for bathrooms, I found their section for the kitchen. Let’s not even start on my kitchen! I was going through a magazine the other day and it had a kitchen with black cupboards, and I fell in love with it. Well, what better to go with new black cupboards than a new sink or faucet? They have great kitchen sinks and kitchen faucets, too. I totally want a stainless steel sink with one side deeper and bigger than the other, with some gorgeous stainless steel faucet to match. A super fancy one, of course. :) But then we’d have to do the countertops, and the stove and fridge… Can you see why I haven’t started yet?
I would love to completely remodel our place, but it's a starter condo, so not really worth it.
ReplyDeleteStop thinking about doing a remodel...and do it!! I have absolutely loved everything that we have done in our house. So worth it, and I haven't regretted one penny of the money spent!
ReplyDeleteWe are gradually fixing it up around here but it takes time and money.
