On May First, 1738, King Kamehameha I was born. What are your impressions of Hawaii?
It seems like everyone wants to go to Hawaii. I don't. I've never really thought about it as a vacation spot. It's just another state, with a higher level of death by volcano.
On May First, 1873, Dr. David Livingstone died. When did you last presume something erroneous about someone or something?
Hmm... I thought for sure that two of my friends were already living together, but I was wrong. That's all I can think of.
On May First, 1876, Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro debuted. How do you feel about Disney’s animated classic Pinocchio?
I've never seen the entire thing, but I do love singing along to "I Got No Strings" (I don't know if that's what it is really called).
May First is Walpurgis Night in Sweden and other parts of northern Europe. When did you last sing in front of an audience?
Welllll... that I can remember, probably 6th grade.
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are a punk rock cover band. What song’s cover version do you like better than its original version?
I L.O.V.E. their cover of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and "These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things". Awesome cover band.
